Valerie Passerini has been horseback riding since 1990 and is located locally on Massachusetts' North Shore. Throughout the years she has dabbled in a bit of everything from basic western, hunter, jumper, and dressage. She currently teaches beginner riders the basics of horsemanship and also teaches more advanced students interested in riding in hunter, jumper, or three phase shows through almost any level. Valerie's passion is training green horses including retraining and restarting off the track thoroughbreds. Her horse Dash was her very first off the track project. Valerie and Dash now compete in local shows including disciplines like two phases, hunters, and jumpers consistently placing in the top of their classes. Valerie works with each student in an individualized manner depending on their current strengths and goals. She is regularly praised for her patience while training both students and horses. Equipped with a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Valerie is a sought after instructor for those who may experience fear while working with horses.
